Weekly Homework

​

    At the beginning of every week, your child will be sent home with a weekly homework packet that will be due at the end of each week.  In this packet, you will find a reading checksheet, leveled paperback just-right book and a comprehension activity to go along with the just-right book. Directions for the the reading checksheet and comprehension activity will be noted at the top of each sheet every week.  The purpose of the homework packet is to ensure your child receives additional support at home towards his or her individual learning goals. Please take time to review the packet and read the provided book with your child each night. In addition to these weekly assignments, your child may receive other reading, writing and math homework assignments. These assignments will typically come home in the packet that is due at the end of the week or written in your child's assignment notebook.  Please check your child’s homework folder and assignment notebook each night for any new assignments.
